Steriod Use

Steriod use in the United States is a big factor among the teenage society. What are going through these teens' mind when they use steriods? The answer is pretty clear that teens use it because of peer pressure. In the year 1997, about 170,000 teenagers has been recorded for the use of steriods. Through out the years, it has increase dramatically. Little do they know that steriods has many affects. During the year of 1998, 2.7 percent of highschool seniors has taken anabolic steriods. Eigth graders in 1998, has been recorded to have a 2.3% use of students using steriods. Eight graders? That is way to young to be thinking about issues like this. 68.1 percent of 12th-graders have a very high risk of health problems. These stats shown is the key factor why professional athletes should be thrown out of thier league because little do they know that they are influencing the teens society.
