Soda and Cancer

But, in a recent study conducted by a team from Tata Memorial Hospital in India, the consumption of carbonated drinks in the U.S. has increased from 10.8 gallons in 1946 to 49.2 gallons per person in 2000. For American men, the rise in esophageal cancer has risen along with the rise in consumption of carbonated soft drinks by 570%.
